Spoof Hard

Spoof king Leslie Nielsen does it again with the help of a twisted Andy Griffith in Spy Hard. Unlike the Naked Gun series, this installment delivers the comedy but the story fails to keep the interest.

Description: Fearless, sophisticated and debonair, Agent WD-40, a.k.a. Steele--Dick Steele, was The Agency's star spy until he left after his true love, a fellow agent, literally slipped through his fingers during a battle with the evil General Rancor, Steele's longtime nemesis. Steele is lured back to active service when he receives an urgent message from The Agency's Director. General Rancor, the megalomaniacal madman presumed dead after losing two limbs in an explosive altercation with Steele fifteen years earlier, is alive! He's mad as hell--armless--but still dangerous, and Steele is the only man who can get a leg up on him and stop his ... (more)

BradWesley123's Movie Journal- September 2018 (33 movies items)

" Netflix- 1hr. 20min. First Viewing I had seen bits and pieces before, but never from beginning to end. And boy, I gotta tell ya, I regret the decision to amend that. I knew it would be bad; hell, I was hoping it would be. I was hoping for a quick, stupid comedy that could give me a few guilty laughs. To it's credit, I did get a few laughs out of it; unfortunately, it was usually to just how unfunny the jokes were. "What the fuck is this?" is my go to phrase for a bad movie moment; I asked it se"

Movies the giraffe watched in 2016: September (13 movies items)

"Re-watch - Sept. 7th Well, this was worse than I remembered. Once you get past Weird Al's excellent opening mock of the James Bond intros it's all downhill from there. The jokes fall flat most of the time, and compared to Austin Powers it fails to spoof the Bond series in any memorable way. At least this isn't as painful to sit through as Dracula, Dead & Loving It but it's still pretty dire. Currently streaming on Netflix"
