Typical Decision

Steven Seagal is not the star nor hero in this nailbiter? I can't believe his ego allowed it. Very entertaining but the storyline is typical action suspense.

This is your "typical" action movie, and it is old school as well. Back in the day when suspense and terrorists were the order of the day. Less politics more action I say. I could watch this movie 1000 times and never get tired of it. I LOVE IT!

A good movie

This is easily one of the most surprising and underrated action movies I have ever seen. I mean, it was surprising in the sense that I didn't expect much from it but it ended up being really entertaining. The first masterstroke was to give Steven Seagal a supporting part (after 7 starring roles in a row, it was actually his very first supporting part) and, of course, [spoiler] to kill him within t... read more

Movies Watched In 2018 - To Infinity & Beyond! (365 movies items)

"A good and tense action thriller in which terrorists hijack a passenger plane and plant a large chemical weapon inside one of the baggages in the cargo hold. Dr David Grant, an intelligence analyst and a team of commandos secretly board the plane mid air and eliminate the threat by force. It has it's exciting moments, the plot is interesting and the mixture of characters all combine to make a solid movie. It doesn't try to copy similar movies in the past in which a solo hero would overcome the o"

" VHS- 2hrs. 13min. First Viewing It's Die Hard on a plane, but Executive Decision is also fairly fun, and gets better as it goes along. It's not a particularly good film, but's its a reasonably entertaining and well-made 90s action movie; maybe that's enough. Monthly Wesley AwardBest Editing- Stuart Baird, Derek G. Brechin, Dallas Puett, Kevin Stitt, Frank J. Urioste"

Movie Reviews (1351-1400) (45 movies items)

" The Ups: It is nice to remember a time when internet didn't ruin the surprise casting of Steven Seagal and what is one of his better roles. Kurt Russell has always been a more interesting character actor and action handler than he gets credit for and he makes a good role here as a man in the middle of a situation he is not ready for. David Suchet play convincingly a terrorist, but there is some stupid one-liners and Oliver Platt as a technical genius is laughable."

"A transatlantic airliner is hijacked en route to the United States. A special forces team is sent to intercept the hijacked plane while the Pentagon prepares to negotiate for the outcome. That is, until they discover that the demands of the terrorists may just be a ruse for an even more catastrophic result. *Spoiler Alert* Executive Decision is by far my favorite Steven Segal movie. And I think that a large reason for that is because Steven surprisingly gets killed off pretty early in this fl"
