“To be honest, I wasn’t sure what to expect from this flick but since I have a weak spot for Jennifer Garner and since it was available on Disney+, I thought I might as well check it out. Well, unfortunately, it turned out to be another rather lame whimsical Disney production, I’m afraid. In fact, the tone was probably not even the biggest issue I had with this flick though. Indeed, I don’t know what was worse between the story and the characters as they were both terribly half-baked. I mean, I didn’t mind that it was never explained how exactly Timothy ended up there in their garden, that’s just inherent to the genre and that was fine. "First viewing - Sept. 22nd Saturday night the kiddo picked this for us to watch, and while I don't recall ever seeing a trailer for it I had seen the poster before. It was solidly entertaining, though it's safe to say she enjoyed it more than I did. I wasn't thrilled with the frame narrative, or at least not the fact that it broke from the main story to return to the frame as often as it does. It's hard to stay invested in a story that keeps getting interrupted, especially when it's excessive. "
