"very good movie. I loved the aesthetic, plot, and characters despite how irritating they cultivate into. That woman (I'm pretty sure her name is Elisa) calling the black man the N word on that train pissed me off though because there was no reason to add that. Edit: There will never be nothing more attractive to me then seeing the gorgeous Jean-Pierre Léaud dancing."
“I was tempted to watch this movie at age 11 after seeing a video edit of this to Mac DeMarco's song 'My Kind of Woman', and for many months after viewing this gem, it became my favourite film! The cast members are not only beautiful but actually have talent, especially Jean-Pierre Léaud, who is now one of my favourite actors. And yes, alike many people who have also watched this film, I agree that times it was difficult to understand and the plot was not challenging, but hard to soothe into. But what I treasured about Masculin Feminin was its aesthetic and how beautiful the cinematography was.

" Notes: ‘A bout de souffle’ is and will remain one of my favorite movies forever and I have been following Godard ever since his masterpiece really blew me away but, unfortunately, no one of his movies have reached this level of awesomeness, at least not in my opinion. The point is that, pretty soon in his career, his movies started to get pretty cryptic and became harder and harder to follow and, nowadays, except for a few die-hard fans, we all pretty much agree that his work has become so"

" Who would've thought that one day I would be watching Godard movies with a French boyfriend? Great success. It's the only way to watch his films, imo. This is your typical degenerate Godard movie: Paris, polygamy, cigarettes, Marxism, flash cuts, intertitles with shocking phrases, anti-Vietnam War commentary, anti-capitalism, cuckoldry, excessive dialogue, pretentiousness, cute girls, politics, depression, and sex. That basically sums it up."
