Watched in 2021: Movies (152 movies items)" Directors: Dorota Kobiela & Hugh Welchman Their 2nd & 1st Movie, respectively My 1st movie watched from the directors This is an incredible achievement. Each frame literally a painting! The animation is beautiful and I was entranced for the nearly the entire running time. The story was certainly less interesting but it ended nicely. “Since I kept hearing some interesting things about this movie, I was quite eager to check it out. To be honest, I struggled a little bit to judge this movie. I mean, on one hand, it was visually so impressive, it felt like diving in so many Van Gogh paintings which would then come to live and this concept was just so creative, artistic and spellbinding to behold. However, on the other hand, even though Van Gogh did paint only for a rather short period of time, he did eventually become one of the most famous painters and by now there has been so many movies about him, many more than about other artists. Well, in this case, unfortunately, beside its incredible visual concept, this movie didn't have such an interesting tale to tell, I'm afraid. Movies I watched in April 2019 (21 movies items)" Date: 4/4/2019 Viewed: Amazon Prime (Rental) First viewing Note: I loved this movie because I love the animation and the story. The voice acting was great and the characters are very good. I love it when animated movies do something creative and new similar to how Waking Life did back in 2001. The oil painting art style is wonderful to look at and really capture the tone of the story. I also love the movie is open for the viewer to decide if was it suicide or murder? I highly recommend this m"
