One of the most beautifully made films that I've ever seen. Stunning cinematography, touching score, some brilliantly written dialogue and a brilliant on screen pairing of Maggie Cheung and Tony Leung Chiu Wai. Such great mise-en-scene, such great acting and the whole movie felt so poignant. It feels like you're standing on the precipice of a great love story, but never really found the courage to jump. When you're done with the movie, you're left with the slight regretful feeling of "what if".

"FORMAT: 35mm CONDITION: ★★★★★ NOTES: Printed from a restored 4K master by Criterion, Jet Tone and Block2. An utterly spotless and vivid print, albeit not a very convincing one.
