Comedy gold!
In The Loop's attention to detail is really the driving force in the film. Every segment about the upcoming war is spoken about and brilliantly wri... read more
Splendid
The core topic was a little late to the table since the invasion it alludes to had already taken place and that topic was so complicated that it could barely be fit into a series of films let alone one.

“(MU) Iannucci's political comedies are more credible and realist than ?House of cards? ore other political stuff. Too many words and verbal fights, but the hogh key is well sustained, some actions (the assintatn leakinf everything, the subsecreatary and her bleeding teeth...) are really amusing” read more

Yet the sight of Peter Capaldi wrapping his Scottish brogue around a series of expletive-laden verbal tirades is impressive in the musicality and muscularity with which he attacks them. A personal favorite is a threat of sticking his cock so f” read more

"Pete Capaldi The cursing in In the Loop, a film about the madcap escalation of a questionable remark made by International Development Minister Simon Foster (played by Tom Hollander), is so fast-paced that it becomes awe-inspiring. In director Armando Ianucci’s universe—which includes In the Loop‘s Britcom predecessor The Thick of It and the HBO hit Veep—no one is more eloquent in their profanity than Minister of Communications Malcolm Tucker. The controlled lunacy and ribald rage which "
