"First viewing - July 30th HBO Max Since this was leaving HBO Max at the end of July & it's the only one of Scott Derrickson's feature films I hadn't already seen to date I figured I'd give it a look. And it's fine. An exorcism tale framed by a courtroom drama makes for a fresh take, but also detracts a bit from the effectiveness of the horror elements.
