First Viewing There's a great satire on faith and religion somewhere in Don Verdean, but writer-director Jared Hess seems more interested in goofy, oddball aside simply for the fact that they are odd. The cast is okay, though several are wasted (no more so than Rockwell, who gets saddled with a boring lead)."
