This movie is a great classic, and the acting in it is very good, different from acting today. Great representation of the steps of addiction in alcohol abuse. I love Jack Lemmon

" Director: Blake Edwards His 10th movie My 9th movie watched from the director Love stories revolving around an alcoholic/drug addiction are always tough to make to watch. Edwards does a good job never glamorizing the act and really makes the love and turmoil of the couple believable, even if the acting by some is not top-notch. While it is a comedy, I am surprised to see it come from the zany Blake Edwards. Maybe it was a subject close to his heart. Added to Lists: Top Ten Films - Bla"
