As you may have noticed, I’m not a huge fan of action flicks. I mean, I have nothing against those but if they are only going to show some massive set-pieces with some huge explosions, gun fighting, car chasing, I get pretty bored rather quickly. love cagey - not his finest moment but worth a butchers - rating about right. some great characters - plenty of action just bit of a silly story.

I find it hard to dismiss this movie as trash, because it becomes very obvious throughout the duration of Con Air that they knew exactly what they were doing with this flick. At the end of the day it is entertaining and fun, what more could you ask from a Nic Cage action movie?
