Fresh from Missouri, plucky and ambitious Eadie Chapman (Jean Harlow) intends to bag a rich hubby without abandoning her virtue. Just act like a lady, she tells gal pal and fellow huntress Kitty (Patsy Kelly) at a swanky soirée. "If they wanted ladies," Kitty says, "they'd be home with their wives."
