"First viewing - Jan. 18th I'd intended to chase the previous film with Get on Up for another dose of Chadwick Boseman, but wound up not having enough time. Above the Rim had a shorter run-time, so I picked it instead. And it's a solid film...good story, mostly good acting, and overall it kept me entertained. Some aspects could have been better explored or fleshed out, but I thought it was worth seeing once and I'm glad I gave it a look. "
