Joel Murray is a really good actor, better than his brother in my opinion, and can play soft-spoken-guy-who's-really-unhinged really well. He has only had one leading role, "God Bless America," but I can totally see him doing playing more leads. He made a guy who was pretty much a total loon very likable. And although many people found Murray's monologues in GBA pedantic, I thought he pulled them off excellently.

Aidan Gillen plays a recurring character on "Game of Thrones," Littlefinger, so I guess he's one of the least underrated people on this list. But I still don't hear people talking about him that much, and most of the people I know have never heard of him. He can make you care for or hate/ be put off by a character, and sometimes he can do both at the same time. Make sure to check out two of his little-known roles, "Buddy Boy" and "Treacle Jr." Incidentally, he plays socially inappropriate characters with speech impediments in both movies.
