Merry Xmas Everybody (1973)
Reached number 1 in the UK and stayed there until mid January. Often named the best Christmas song of all time, definitely my favourite.

Fairytale of New York (1987)
Featuring Kirsty MacColl, it reached number 1 in Ireland and number 2 in the UK. Often referred to as one of, if not the, greatest Christmas song of all time.

I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday (1973)
Lost out on a Christmas number 1 to Slade and their 'Merry Xmas Everybody' but still reached number 4.

Proper Crimbo (2003)
Written by the wirtters for Bo' Selecta! performed by Leigh Francis as Craig David and Michael Jackson. It peaked at number 3 and stayed in the charts for 9 weeks.

It reached number 2 in the charts and was the front single for Mariah Carey's Christmas Album, it has been described by critics as one of the few modern holiday songs that is actually good.

featuring & Yoko/Plastic Ono Band with the Harlem Community Choir.
The song peaked at number 4 when release and then when re-released after Lennon's murder it reached number 2.

It was re done in 1989 and 2004 to continue raising money for famine relief.

Last Christmas (1984)
It reached number 2 in the UK as Band Aids 'Do They Know It's Christmas?' claimed number 1, however Wham! member George was a member of Band Aid anyway. Wham! also donated the royalties of 'Last Christmas' to the same cause as Band Aid.

Merry Christmas Everyone (1985)
Released a year after recording to avoid clashing with Band Aid, it reached number 1.

Wonderful Christmastime (1979)
It only reached number 6 on its year of release however it is estimated that Paul McCartney makes $400,000 per year from this song as it recieves airtime every year and there have been many covers.
