This edition of X-Wing added several Tour of Duty mission expansions, as well as the add-on 'B-Wing' to the game, which was a bomber-class warship rather than a fighter-class.

The sequel to Battlecruiser Millenium, Universal Combat was very poorly received and critically panned.
