Laura Ford's destitute animals and scruffs
Born in Cardiff, Wales, in 1961, artist Laura Ford spent much of her childhood with travelling fairs. Among her best known sculptures, which can be seen in several countries, are destitute urban animals, preoccupied cats and weeping girls set in nature.
