Brent Park Cricket Club is a village team, a village team captained by Roger Dervish, a man who loves his cricket. He also loves his wife, OK? Fair enough. The main characters in the team are men who have little respect for their wives or girlfriends... apart from Kevin Costello that is, who has a fabulous relationship with his haystack, Maggie. Kevin and Roger couldn't be more different, yet loyalty binds them together as friends.
