Images of the Llangollen International Eisteddfod

Each year at the town of Llangollen in Wales takes place an international "eisteddfod", a gathering of singers, dancers and musicians from many countries, who take part in competitions in a spirit of international friendship. Luciano Pavarotti loved his visit as a teenager in 1955 and returned to give a concert 40 years later.
