Musicians I consider underrated

If there was a choice between Green Day and this band, most would probably say Green Day.
I'd say Blink 182.

Every indie fan seems to prefer to Oasis to this lovely lot.

You lot will probably hate me for including this bloke on the list, but when will certain people learn that he used to be a good guy and his crimes have nothing to do with his songs
Classic songs, but now Gaz has become unpopular. So he must be under-rated

The Jungle Book, The Aristocats and Robin Hood may be well remembered by children, their parents and those who grew up with the films, but the fact that this professional jazz singer starred in them films has been overlooked for some time.

Another band who seems to be hated too much.
Heather has a very distinctive baritone singing voice.

I dunno why reviewers hated this band so much.
They probably don't now, but that was the reason why the New York Dolls disbanded in the first place.

That's all people seem to remember this band for.
They did more than that. I saw 'em!

I saw this band three times live.
They are as good live as they are during studio times.
I often prefer this lot to The Beatles (I don't hate the Beatles at all btw). For some reason, I can't find an explanation.

Del Shannon ain't a one-hit wonder; obviously there was Runaway, but he did some other good stuff as well;

Why do people hate this band so much?!

Slade ain't just about Christmas. Frankly, today's music listeners don't seem to care. They just treat them glam-rock icons as a one hit wonder.

Whenever people talk about late 70s/early 80s punk rock, The Stranglers are never the first ones who pop into the fans' minds.
Why not? They obviously have more talent and sing way better than the Sex Pistols.

Most people remember the No Doubt version of It's My Life, other than Talk Talk's.
Surely that ain't fair! No Doubt so cannot compete with Talk Talk. Talk Talk are one of the most unique bands ever. Not just by music genres, but in general.
The band taught us that you do not need particular instruments to achieve success.
The band started without a guitar player, though they did recruit one years later. Still that's amazing, ain't it?

Gary Numan has gone off to do his own stuff and remains popular. Rightly so, but it doesn't mean this band has to be neglected. There was more than just Are Friends Electric.

Midge Ure may be remembered and praised (by the way, he ain't dead yet, in case you ask).

Whatever happened to this one? A rather short music career and not much new material since 2003.
