How I Live Now (2013)
Saoirse Ronan is in this movie. Need I say more? A very talented up and coming young actress.

These Final Hours (2014)
Interesting Aussie movie where even your last day (and everyone else's) on Earth might not be too late to turn your life around.
Joe's rating:
What an imagination? A train carrying the last people alive on earth. You're thinking to yourself, "How can this ever make for an interesting movie"? That's what I thought and I was wrong.
It is a pretty darn interesting movie and well worth watching. Enjoy if you decide to do so.

I've always had this strange fascination with end of the world movies. What is it going to look like? Is anyone going to survive? How are they going to cope?
End of the world movies always seem to have two elements in common. One always seem to depict how some fuck-up is going to be the cause of a nuclear holocaust for which there will be no winners. I subscribe to this theory that everyone will lose. The West, the East, the Strong and the Weak. Nuclear weapons seem to posit that promise.
The only thing I wish for the sake of our children and grandchildren is that somehow or other very soon the good guys develop something that neutralizes all nuclear weapons pre-emptively.
Naive, right. But you need to have some small measure of hope, especially if you have family that you love.
The second option always seams to depict something crashing into the earth or similar and in that case we're probably all screwed. Oh well, it's just a list.
Oh yeah just movies I've seen.
