Still can remember clearly the summer nights/mornings playing this for the first time in 2010. I don't even remember how many times I've played this game from start to finish.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - PlayStation 4
I never played the other two before this in the series but the trailers for this sold me to it. This is the only game that I've ever bought the season pass on to. The DLC's are so great too. The world and the quest lines are done so well in this game. The story is great one too. At the beginning the controls took some time to get used to but after that the game just got better and better.
Mass Effect Trilogy - PlayStation 3
The second game is the best one of the series and was also the first one that I played of the trilogy. The wait is almost over for the ME:Andromeda when writing this...
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater - PlayStation 2
The best game of the PS2 era. And might have been the last game for me before I bought the Xbox 360.
The Last of Us - PlayStation 3
One of those gaming experiences that grabbed me for the first moments and kept just getting better and better. Awesome OST by Gustavo Santaolalla. The characters and acting/mo-cap performances are just great.
Dragon Age: Inquisition - PlayStation 4
This was the game that made me finally buy the PS4.
Batman: Arkham Knight - PlayStation 4
The Arkham games are just great for a Batman fan. The combat is so enjoyable in these.
Batman: Return to Arkham - PlayStation 4
Rocket League - PlayStation 4
Great and enjoyable game that I've played almost daily ever since buying this.
Super Mario Bros. 3 - Famicom and NES
I never owned this game but I played this almost everytime when I visited my cousins. Also I borrowed this multiple times after I got the NES for my birthday in -96 or -97. I don't remember if I ever finished the game because I was young and I haven't played it afterwards more than a few minutes.
Dragon's Dogma - PlayStation 3
The monster fighting system in this game is so good. The battles against the dragons especially were just fantastic experiences. The game is jrpg and has a silent protagonist and I usually prefer the voice acting over just reading text after text but this game won me over with the combat.
Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor - Game of the Year Edition... - PlayStation 4
I bought this game from a sale and the Nemesis-system is the reason why this game is so high on the list. Gameplay is similar to Assassins Creed games but the LOTR lore adds to the enjoyment. Story isn't the strongest there is but overall this game was nice find for me.
The Banner Saga 2 - PlayStation 4
The story continues straoght from where it was left on in the first one. The game is a better version of the first game that was great already. The art is even prettier and there's more of hand-drawn animation and more voice over work done. The soundtrack is great one also.
The Banner Saga - PlayStation 4
Newest addition to list, I loved this game right from the start. The art style is so beautiful and the fighting is fun and quite challenging.
South Park: The Stick of Truth - PlayStation 3
Almost a perfect South Park game that feels like you are controlling episodes in the show. Frame rate drops were the only problems that I had while playing this game.
Resident Evil 4 - PlayStation 2
This was my first RE game and I played this in 2007 after borrowing it from a friend. I really liked the game and I'll probably play this again soon after buying this (PS4 remaster) for my brother as a gift last Christmas.
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon - PlayStation Network
I'm not the biggest FPS fan but this game was just so much fun and this is the best Far Cry game in my opinion ( it was a standalone DLC for FC3).
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag - PlayStation 3
This is for all of the AC series' games but I chose Black Flag for the place holder since it is my favorite one. The games have had technical problems always but the world and lore that the multiple Ubisoft teams have built over the years are just fantastic.
Max Payne - PlayStation 2
The first "mature" game I managed to get my parents to buy for me. I had a copy that I never finished since the game froze at the same spot in the late part of the game. I finished the game later on a PC. But I played this game on PS2 quite much even if I couldn't finish it.
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City - PlayStation 2
I have played the GTA games so so many hours... Vice City is probably my favorite because of the setting and story.
Grand Theft Auto V - PlayStation 3
This is the second best game in the series, I had week off from the university of applied sciences at the time this released and played this whole of that week. I have only played this for a few nights on PS4 afterwards but I'll probably play it throught again soon.
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - PlayStation 2
I played this so much in the Christmas of 2004 and the next year or so.
Grand Theft Auto IV - Xbox 360
I had Xbox 360 for a few years because PS3 was so expensive at the time. But I really didn't own that many games on it and also I didn't play that much at the time (alcoholic beverages, movies and friends took much off my free time then), I had several Fifa and NHL games but besides them I only bought GTA IV and Dead Rising. I mostly borrowed games from a friend until the system fried itself while I was serving my conscription in the military. But I played this game through few times and later I borrowed my brothers Xbox 360 and the DLCs for this.
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves - PlayStation 3
All of the Uncharted games deserve this spot but the second one is the best so I picked it to the spot. After the Xbox got fried I switched back to Playstation and bought the PS3 slim version with the Uncharted 2 with it. The game was really beautiful graphically and the gameplay was fun too.
Crash Bandicoot - PlayStation
I got this game with my Playstation console but I had played this in friends house before. This is one of my childhoods favorite games and I played so much of it.
Dragon Age: Origins - PlayStation 3
I bought Origins and DA II from Playstation Store's Christmas sale and even though that was late in the last gen and the Origins especially was really dated graphically I really liked these games from the start and played both of them on that holiday.
I liked the story and characters and how the game lead to the Inquisition. But this is the weakest of the trilogy in my opinion.
Super Mario Bros. - Famicom and NES
My first game since as it was in the box with the NES. A classic game that everyone probably knows so...
Darkwing Duck - Famicom and NES
This game and the Lion King game on NES were games that I really enjoyed playing as a kid even though I was really awful at them.
Dead Rising - Xbox 360
This and FIFA 07 were the first games I bought to Xbox 360. I really like this game series and I bought the series' PS3 games too and I was disappointed when they made the third one a Xbox exclusive.
CTR: Crash Team Racing - PlayStation
I played this on a demodisk with friends and my sister so much. And later I borrowed it from a friend and finished it. Really fun driving game especially with friends.
NHL 2001 - PlayStation
This was my first NHL game and so I chose it to this spot for the whole series. I've owned so many games of the EA's NHL games and I've spent countless hours playing them.
Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! - PlayStation
I think that my parents bought this game for my sister as a Christmas gift but she really didn't play it ever so I kinda stole it for myself and played it through atleast 4 or 5 times.
FIFA Football 2003 - PlayStation 2
Basically the same as the NHL text.
EA Sports UFC 2 - PlayStation 4
Good MMA game
Power Blade - Famicom and NES
The soundtrack was so good and I loved this even if I was really horrible at it. I never owned any of the games that are lower/after this one on this list but I played them with my cousins so much when I was a kid.
DuckTales - Famicom and NES
Super Mario 64 - Nintendo 64
Mario Kart 64 - Nintendo 64
Super Smash Bros. - Nintendo 64
GoldenEye 007 - Nintendo 64
Donkey Kong Country - Super famicom and SNES
Divinity: Original Sin II - PC Games
List of my favorite videogames.
