Chan's big US debut proves he can hold his own, the film itself was pretty awful.

Stehako's rating:
People who added this item 189 Average listal rating (111 ratings) 5.3 IMDB Rating 6

Stehako's rating:
People who added this item 139 Average listal rating (84 ratings) 5.1 IMDB Rating 5.7
A very disappointing sequel
Stehako's rating:

Too strange as a kid to really enjoy the adaptation.

Stehako's rating:
People who added this item 423 Average listal rating (260 ratings) 6.5 IMDB Rating 6.9
I'll partly blame it on the fact that I didn't see this until I was an adult; but the songs in this are terrible and acting by the boy is worse. Luckily enough of the Muppet humor is still present for this to be deemed slightly entertaining but a disappointment after the lovely Muppet Christmas Carol

Stehako's rating:
People who added this item 960 Average listal rating (622 ratings) 6.6 IMDB Rating 7.2

A decent remake of the French film/play "La Cale Aux Follies"

Stehako's rating:
People who added this item 365 Average listal rating (246 ratings) 4.3 IMDB Rating 4.5
Bio-Dome (1996)

More like Bio-Dumb!
Still, you can't fault a movie that includes an appearance from Tenacious D.
Stehako's rating:
People who added this item 487 Average listal rating (330 ratings) 5.3 IMDB Rating 5.9
The Fan (1996)
Not a big fan of this slow burner that never scalds.
Stehako's rating:
People who added this item 454 Average listal rating (270 ratings) 6.4 IMDB Rating 6.8

Day-Lewis brings respect to this somewhat dull adaptation

Peter Jackson creates a strange ode to cheesy ghost flicks starring The Michael J Fox in, strangely, his last live-action movie role.
Stehako's rating:
People who added this item 89 Average listal rating (57 ratings) 7.7 IMDB Rating 7.6
A dialogue-heavy tale that frustrates as much is it curates. None of the characters are entirely likable, which makes it a little more realistic, I suppose.
Stehako's rating:
People who added this item 176 Average listal rating (104 ratings) 7.3 IMDB Rating 7.3
Pacino goes Richard III all up in this doc. Many years later Spacey (who is in this) will star in 'House of Cards' a modern story of Richard III.
Stehako's rating:

Long title, silly movie.
Stehako's rating:
People who added this item 923 Average listal rating (644 ratings) 5.5 IMDB Rating 6.1
Eraser (1996)

Big movie, bad taste, cool guns, Arnold.
Stehako's rating:
Just like watching the show... only not as funny
Stehako's rating:
People who added this item 175 Average listal rating (118 ratings) 6.1 IMDB Rating 6.3
A lot of shooting, a lot of talking but not a lot of plot.
Stehako's rating:

Behind-the-scenes look at what happened after Carson retired from late-night. The performances, aside from Kathy Bates, were awkward. It was very made-for-TV; but kept interest.
Stehako's rating:
People who added this item 143 Average listal rating (88 ratings) 5.5 IMDB Rating 5.7

Marvin's Room (1997)

Director: Jerry Zaks
His 1st movie
My 1st movie watched from the director

This cast is stacked, but none of them deliver a memorable performance. Diane Keaton comes closest and DeNiro's role is a total waste. The story is about relationships, and the sister relationship is the only one that pays off in the end.

Actually the most impressive part of the miss is the fact that this unknown director, Jerry Zaks, somehow was able to get all these great actors together for a very average movie.

Added to Lists:

It's Not Easy Being Sisters
Best Performances - Diane Keaton

2 interesting days in the valley, true, but they never amount to much as the climax arrives too soon. I felt like only half the story was told by the time we got to the end.
Stehako's rating:
People who added this item 385 Average listal rating (207 ratings) 6.6 IMDB Rating 6.9
Basquiat (1996)
Jeffrey Wright is fantastic in his debut lead. This is a film that wants to be extra artistic but gets in the way of itself with too many conventional ways.
Stehako's rating:
People who added this item 198 Average listal rating (108 ratings) 7.4 IMDB Rating 7.3
Small movie, big taste.
Stehako's rating:
People who added this item 441 Average listal rating (287 ratings) 6.5 IMDB Rating 6.9
I'll admit, I enjoyed this sappy tale. See it with your kids.
Stehako's rating:

Another very strange Jarmish film with an all star cast and a great ending.
