"You've just been erased."

At its most basic level, Eraser is a shameless Arnie movie - another member the action movie subgenre wherein the Austrian Oak smirks, munches on cigars and dispatches several battalions of nameless extras. It's loud, violent, sporadically funny and overflowing with action set-pieces and nifty weaponry. The only thing Eraser lacks is a spin - at the end of... read more

Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s work but, back in the 80's-90's, he was definitely one of the most dependable action stars and, from time to time, I can always appreciate a good old action flick. Honestly, with such a title, such a poster, I wasn't expecting a masterpiece but I was however expecting something really badass. Eventually, I must admit it, I was rather disapp... read more

"March 8th Directed by: Chuck Russell The imagery of the poster made me think this would be a more serious thriller, but it is exactly what you expect of an Arnold movie from the 90's. The plot is actually kind of sophisticated and engaging to a point, that point being when alligators show up and eat a bunch of dudes. There's a lot to laugh at, as there is in just about any 90's action movie, it's a good watch, just at the end of the day it's not all that memorable. LaserDisc."

30 From 96: My Favorite Films From 1996 (30 movies items)

" Ahnold as an "actioneer" with an intelligence that offsets the "simplicity" of his slanted pronunciation, and with a caring heart that belies the intimidation of his massive "terminator" physique. A story whose concept of a secret ring of do-gooders who were once do-badders has the potential, IMO, to be just as rich and far-reaching as any plot-lines based on a time-traveling, death-dealing uber-robot.
