This is a FAV genre of mine! Pretty certain it's gonna traffic in a lot of response. Please be patient with me in getting to your votes and comments--I'm a busy bee IRL.
THE RULES:
Everyone gets a choice of 10 movies. Your #1 gets 10 points, while your #10 gets 1 point. Y'all know how it works.
There are no bans on how many times you may vote or how many times you use the same film. Got nuts!
THE SPECIFICATIONS:
The theme/genre for this list is to choice your absolute favorite mind-benders in cinema history. This can include surrealism so '60s existentialism is acceptable. What's your fav movie experiences that left you scratching your head, digging out your eyes, pounding the wall in frustrating, wanting to know what the f*** is going on?
THE REASONS:
My reasons for choosing to make this list are simple:
1) I have no life.
2) It gives me great tips on 'movie rental night', as well as giving the Listal community a public voice/opinion. Besides, poll lists are just funner.
I chose to lift the bans on how many times one may participate because I find through trial and error that whenever I make a poll list with the standard rules, I get traffic for the first few weeks, then... nothing. This way I hope I get a more accurate read on public opinion and keep traffic alive on list for a while.
