Shouyou Hinata, upon seeing a volleyball match, is aiming to become the next "Small Giant", and joins his middle school volleyball club. After finding new members, they set out for the middle school tournament, where they've cross paths with a formidable school with the "King of the Upper Court", Tobio Kageyama. Although their team lost, Shouyou is still determined to aim for the top and exact revenge on Kageyama. Upon entering high school, he receives the biggest surprise – he and Kageyama are on the same high school volleyball club!

Rewatching Anime/Reviendo Anime. (23 tv items)

"No idea why I rewatch this, just felt like it. Season 1: a weak 6/10. Can't believe they just skip the last fucking match. Horrible choice. Oikawa deserved that. The animation is still stellar. Anime stuff is still silly. Characters are okay. The tension is pretty well done, the progression of new skills is pretty decent and the lack of magical powers are certainly a plus xD"

"How i said, i watched Kuroko´s Basketball because i´m a big fan of the N.B.A. so why is this show higher and whats the point with volleyball for me? Absolutly nothing. But this is the best sports anime in my opinion, because it takes time for any character in the team, any player on the bench or dude from the staff.
