Rewatching Anime/Reviendo Anime.

Alright. I love it. I probably didn't appreciate it when I was 12. I remember it being just action.

Still good. Not every game is as interesting, but is mostly about character and that's always strong. Kaiji is great, really fun protagonist, keeps learning, getting harder, but at is core, is still a nice guy.

It sort of drags a bit sometimes, but not that bad. Keeps you entertain and has a interesting theme about life. Of course, I'm never risking my fucking fingers for shit.

Season 2 is so much stronger. Great shit.

Why are the Amanto fighting with swords?

No idea why I rewatch this, just felt like it.

Season 1: a weak 6/10.

Can't believe they just skip the last fucking match. Horrible choice. Oikawa deserved that.

The animation is still stellar. Anime stuff is still silly. Characters are okay.

The tension is pretty well done, the progression of new skills is pretty decent and the lack of magical powers are certainly a plus xD

I really like the detail of Katsura defeating samurai and no blood appears, but the moment is an Amanto, holy fuck, it flies everywhere.

Currently enjoying it with my dad.

Benizakura Arc: 7/10. I really vibe with Takasugi.
Yagyu Arc: 6/10.
Okita Mitsuba Arc: 6/10.
Shinsengumi Crisis Arc: 7/10.
Yoshiwara in Flames: 8/10. Is still my favorite, so much good shit.
Tama Quest Arc: 4/10. Probably the least funny shit ever.
Red Spider: 6/10. Jiraia ending kinda fucks it up. It could have been a 7 or even an 8 if it had ended minutes earlier xD
Diviner arc: 6/10.
Devas arc: 7/10.
Baragaki Arc: 7/10.
Kintama arc: 8/10. Pretty unique stuff. My dad's favorite.
Courtesan Of A Nation Arc: 8/10. Fucking wow.
Beam Saber Arc: 6/10.
Genderbend Arc: 6/10.
Reaper Arc: 7/10.
Shogun Assassination Arc: 8/10.
Farewell, Shinsengumi Arc: 7/10.
Rakuyou Decisive Battle Arc: 6/10.
Silver Soul Arc: 8/10.

Yeah, still good.

A couple of individual episodes felt a bit weak, but it is the whole of the piece that is great, it all comes together nicely. The animation is still exilitaring, cute and original. Loved it once again.

The story on itself is just fine, tho. It never blew my mind. Is more the way that is told and its uniqueness.

You have! to make some compelling characters to make me see beyond the anime shit and the art style that I hate. And Hachi's voice in japanese.

The english dub is quite decent.
