Houtarou is usually quite apathetic, however his sister forced him to join the classic literature club. Once there he discovers some information regarding an incident surrounding one of the members' uncle. Together with an inquisitive girl this unassertive boy delves deeper into this mystery.

"I really enjoyed this anime. It follows Houtarou, who is made to join the Classics club at school by his sister and along the way makes 3 friends who help him solve mysteries which he really can't be bothered solving. Houtarou is a very rational and lethargic student, he likes to conserve as much energy as possible and sticks to his motto: "If I don't have to do something I won't. If I do have to do something, make it quick". However he keeps getting dragged into solving mysteries by his friends"
