And here we are again, yet another sequel of a movie that did so well the first time. Guess what? It is an excellent sequel. You simply put two elements, and not necessarily two opposite elements, and the chemical reaction between them causes an enormous explosion on the BIG screen. After the incredibly fun, amusing yet slightly overrated predecessor back in 2009, we are granted with another Christmas treat - the sequel, but this one looked a lot darker, perhaps funnier and more serious. Movies Viewed in 2018 (361 movies items)"With Dr Watson getting married, Sherlock Holmes has to convince him that he is needed for his latest case, tracking down the genius of Professor Moriarty. Guy Ritchie's sequel is better than the original thanks to a clever script and the growing bond between Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law, making their scenes both a delight to watch and the backbone to the film. Some great set pieces and a terrific supporting cast makes this just pure, unadulterated fun."
