Turtle Diary stars Glenda Jackson and Ben Kingsley in a tale of two older, lonely London residents who are fascinated with the great sea turtles in the aquarium at the London Zoo. The two meet by chance and form an odd, but sympathetic camaraderie as they concoct a plan to liberate the sea turtles and return them to the sea. This quirky little movie has a surprise ending (of sorts), and celebrates the joy that one derives when daring to embrace life.
