Add to that a plot that is increasingly nonsensical and loves to bloat sequences to fill out a running time and you have yourself a phenomenally stupid endeavor. I will say there is a sequence near the end that reaches some form of nightmarishness that shows promise but given that movies like Fire In The Sky have done it better it really doesn't justify sitting through the slog. "
