"What. The. F**k. Did. I. Watch?? An entirely different re-telling of the F4 origins. A group of whiny geeks recruited by a professor working for some shadowy government "black ops" organization. Silly FX meant, at times, to scare the bejeezus out of you. Multi-cultural casting to prevent another excuse for the BLM crowd to riot. Unless I missed it, was there an openly gay character, too? No wonder the franchise failed to reboot! "
“Back in 2015, I saw a huge cardboard display for the new Fantastic Four movie, and I thought, “Oh no, is this gonna be one of those movies where it’s coated in that ugly desaturated earth and metal tones?” So, I didn’t watch it because I wasn’t into Marvel movies in general, but it might be a critical success regardless. However, this movie describing the origins of the team, which includes Mr. Fantastic (Miles Teller), Invisible Girl (Kate Mara), Human Torch (Michael B. Jordan) and Thing (Jamie Bell), and their plot to defeat the evil Dr. Doom (Toby Kebell) had been critically thrashed, warranting a 5% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. " The Cliffhanger: Ahem. What Happened? Sweet, sweet justice. It had a disastrous opening weekend and only got worse from there, as people quickly found out that it's a fucking turd, and it's astonishing that a movie so incompetent found its way into theatres. Fox quietly removed the sequel from their schedule, and nobody ever spoke of this debacle again."
