" VUDU- 1hr. 43min. First Viewing As is typical, director Sidney Lumet get's some terrific, lived-in performances from his leads. Unfortunately, Fonda and Bridges work, along with some solid filmmaking, is really the only reasons one could give to recommend The Morning After. The story starts, relatively, intriguingly, but quickly fizzles as it goes one, climaxing with a rather ho-hum ending that's isn't particularly satisfying. Fine, but not that involving. "
