Ok, now I think this is one of Sandler's worst movies. Not only was it very unfunny but it was also boring. Which really isn't a good mix. I'm pretty much a sucker for any movie involving football and really liked this one. They stuck close enough to the original storyline to call it a remake, but it was very funny at the same time. Pro quarter-back Paul Crewe and former college champion and coach Nate Scarboro are doing in the same prison. Asked to put together a team of inmates to take on the guards, Crewe enlists the help of Scarboro to coach the inmates to victory in a football game 'fixed' to turn out quiet another way.
