" Aaron and Justin are two brothers whowere lucky enough to escape from one those cults that become famous for mass suicides and mental control.Years later, however, they decide to revisit the the so-called "commune" from which their ran away from. Which, if you're not currenting residing in such a self-functioning community, already know that such a visit isn't really gonna end well. Or else, it wouldn't be the primary plotline of a horror movie, now would it?"
" Date: 8/1/2021 Viewed: IMDB TV First Viewing Note: I wanted to check out more movies from Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson after watching Synchronic (2020) a while back. I also hear great things about this film for the last few years now, and I finally watched it on IMDB TV (As of 8/3/2021). I'm glad that I watched it because it was fantastic. The Endless is totally up my alley because it was a slow-burn atmospheric movie. I love the mystery that exists in the story because it makes you ques"
"Two brothers return to the cult they fled from years ago to discover that the group’s beliefs may be more sane than they once thought. This sci-fi/paranormal movie struggles to stand out in any significant way. There are many things I liked about the movie but an equal amount that I didn't. It has an interesting style until any special effects is used which always looks terrible. I didn't think the two leads who also directed the movie weren't that good. It also goes on for way too long. Noth"

Difficult to write on this very sensory film that could be likened to a long episode of "The Twilight Zone" to which it would have integrated some narrative Lynch codes. By successive keys as the story unfolds, we feel as oppressed, trapped by an anxiety atmosphere close to pure terror. Cause that's what Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead have done brilliantly : make us feel the unspeakable and ultimately the fright, the real. With a lot of resources, some people make shit; with less budget, imagination and a bold note of intent, others make art.” read more

"First viewing - Aug. 31st I couldn't let August end on such a bum note, so I ponied up the money to rent my most anticipated film of 2018 via Amazon. And it was well worth the wait, though it fell short of surpassing Sorry to Bother You for my favorite film of the year. It's an excellent film overall though, with some moments I deeply loved but won't discuss because spoilers. I highly recommend checking it out, however, especially if you're a fan of Resolution and Spring. Just at thought: Now "
