Even though this movie has a rather lame reputation, since it was dealing with an interesting story, I was still eager to check it out. “Even though this movie has a rather lame reputation, since it was dealing with an interesting story, I was still eager to check it out. Well, eventually, it turned out to be indeed a fascinating story but, unfortunately, they didn't manage to turn it into a great movie, I’m afraid. I mean, it shows that David Fincher is a great director to have managed to make such a fascinating movie about the creation of Facebook but I'm afraid Bill Condon is only a decent director and he really struggled with this material. Indeed, it seemed rather tricky to translate the digital world of hackers to the silver screen and the end-result was never really convincing or intriguing enough. " I love the premise of this move and found it very interesting. The concept of a transparent government. I think it's an important message to get out to people. They need to seek out information and question things. I admire what Assange was trying to do. Ben's portrayal was a celebration of him not a done to make him look bad.
