To be honest, I had some rather low expectations about this flick and I wonder how I actually ended up watching the damned thing. I guess I watched it mostly because Peter O'Toole was involved. The Good & The Bad - Movies Watched In 2017 (472 movies items)"I've watched various movies featuring the dog Lassie over the years and this one is just as good as them. Set during the onset of WWII in Yorkshire, Lassie the rough collie is sold by a poor family to a Duke who takes her up to Scotland. There she escapes and makes her down back South to reunite with her young master. It's a wonderful heartwarming family movie. The scenery and cinematography is homely, wild and beautiful and the cast is excellent which includes Peter O'Toole. You will find yours"
