The main message of the film is so obvious that some viewers might think that they missed something crucial but I don't think they did. “I wasn't really sure what to expect from this flick but since I kept hearing some pretty good things about it, I was quite eager to check it out. Basically, it was some kind of character study, showing how a couple might evolve after a near tragedy. And I guess, that's what we do, the spoiled privileged Western people, we tend to over think and over analyse everything since we didn't have to face a war on our soil for already 70 years, we didn't have to face hunger or some other massive dramatic situation. As a result, we play such scenarios like 'what would you do if you were drowning? Would you save yourself of your children?' But even though the avalanche was really scary, it was eventually rather harmless and nobody got hurt so you might wonder why the characters wouldn't just laugh ab” read more
