"Primero que todo, el anime no era la gran cosa, tenía mucho potencial, pero era muy apresurado y tenía un exceso de clichés. Y esta película lleva eso a otro nivel sus defectos y además es una versión alternativa. Si el anime con 26 episodios se sintieron apresurados, una película de 1 hora y 30 minutos ¿creían que no sería rápida? Debieron hacer una secuela y no este desastre lleno de huecos argumentales."

"If the tv series was already a letdown, this was a fucking outrage. the visuals were spectacular and the score was good too, but everything else was complete shit, and boring too. In this retelling the characters became suicidally depressed assholes and the story was all over the place. This killed my interest in reading its manga versions completely, huh, I could've place it on another section but the disappointment was such that I just had to place it this high. Rot in hell Escaflowne."
