Ahh what can I say about this movie? Disappointing? The trailer was engaging, the movie was somewhat engaging and Jennifer Anistons performance was appalling. She could have played her character much better. I found it a little boring mostly due to her performance.

Honestly, I have nothing against Jennifer Anniston. Indeed, I think she is actually really charming and I'm pretty sure she is quite talented but, unfortunately, she keeps playing the same characters in the same boring romantic-comedies over and over again. Charles is worn down by his home life where he and his wife struggle to cope with the demands their daughter's illness, and his job. When he meets Lucinda on the train to work in Chicago, there is an immediate spark between them. Soon they are doing lunch; dinner and drinks follow. This leads to an adulterous rendezvous in an hotel. But no sooner have they torn each others' clothes off than their room is invaded by a thief who beats Charles and rapes Lucinda.Because of the illicit nature of their relationship, Charles is reluctant to go to the Police and soon finds himself powerless to resist the every demand of the thief.

We might not know how the story's going to come together, not entirely, but we've seen too many of these sorts of films not to read the tea leaves.
