Back in 2001, Jake Gyllenhaal gave his breakthrough performance in ‘Donnie Darko’ but the same year, he showed up in this movie as well. It is pretty much forgotten nowadays but since I have a weak spot for Gyllenhaal , I thought I should give it a try. " Director: Blair Hayes His 1st Movie My 1st movie watched from the director Despite Gyllenhaal's dedication to his character this movie was really poorly-made. It was clearly done by a novice director and put together by an editor who couldn't save it. It's too bad because it has a decent cast and the road trip elements weren't bad.
