"The balance that a movie like this needs to strike is beyond hard and is sort of the reason why movies like this don't really exist anymore in the numbers they did in, say, the 90s, but Braid goes for making a mind fuck of a horror film and it gives you all the right pieces to get into thinking about it and gives you all the right nudges to keep you thinking about it. Helps that the movie looks like a million bucks. I'm not necessarily sold on whether the amount of thinking it pushes you to do i"
