Often considered their best, this second Marx Brothers movie revolves around a stolen painting and the sprawling estate of a wealthy dowager who soon finds Chico, Zeppo, Harpo, and, especially, Groucho turning her life upsidedown. Groucho croons his famous "Hooray for Captain Spaulding" and delivers many of his most famous quips in this film based on a play by George S. Kaufman.

"Re-watch - Jan. 26th The kiddo's appreciation and understanding of humor has grown a lot, and we've had some conversations in recent months that indicated she was ready to experience the Marx Brothers. And I was correct in that conclusion. It was a joy to watch Animal Crackers and laugh along with her.
