"Jesse V. Johnson and Scott Adkins working together is a great combination and this is a good example of it. Adkins carries the film well and the script goes unexpected places in terms of showcasing our lead as, well, a grade-A asshole at just about every step possible. This is a lot of fun, though it cuts down on the narrative flourishes as it goes on, making the last third feel a bit slower than the prior two, which is a weird direction to go in in an action movie with stakes growing higher all"
