"Kevin MacDonald directs this documentary about the life and untimely death of Whitney Houston, with the full support of her family and with use of archive footage and recordings. Telling the tale of a young girl and her meteoric rise to superstardom and how her demons and secrets became her downfall. With moments like her first live TV appearance to the legendary rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner, this is a story that will surprise you as well as make you cry."
