JSRF: Jet Set Radio Future - Xbox
The innovation that this game emits is amazing. Everything just works in this game for me. I even though not being a fan of techno music, I thoroughly enjoy the soundtrack. The cel-shading use makes the environment just comes alive. Aside from a few controller issues, I cannot go on how much that this game works.
Update: As of March 2009, Sega has recently renewed the Jet Set Radio/Grind Radio and ChuChu Rocket trademarks in the U.S. Speculation has lead to believe that both are soon to be rereleased on Xbox Live and/or PSN.

Xenogears - PlayStation
This is a true JRPG in every fashion. If you enjoy the A-typical storyline and an interesting twist on the Active Time Battle methods, then do yourself a favor and download this on the Playstation Network.
Update: Nothing currently in development or rumored.

Hitman: Blood Money - Xbox 360
Award Winning success franchises sometimes lose all of their flavor after a while. This famed IO Interactive developed title unfortunately was no different. The last two games went into the depths of Agent 47's mind, but forced the player, in my opinion, to play one way. Only stealth. You are penalized for going in like a madman "guns blazin'". Regardless, there were still may different was to eliminate your target. I love this franchise!
Update: Due to technical problems it has been confirmed that Hitman 5 is now being delayed until Christmas 2011 "at the earliest".

Z.O.E.: Zone of the Enders - PlayStation 2
One of my favorite PS2 titles developed by Konami and produced by (the Metal Gear Solid franchise mastermind) Hideo Kojima. The second Z.O.E. game sold poorly and Hideo blamed himself. Apparently, it wasn't the fact that the game was constructed poorly, but the fact it had a terrible release date.
Update: Hideo Kojima stated that he would love to develop a possible sequel, but Konami hasn't greenlit it yet.

Resident Evil: Outbreak File #2 - PlayStation 2
Alright, let me quickly point out that this is not one of the best spinoff's of the Resident Evil franchise. I just love the concept of the game. Third person RE "tank controls", the survival horror atmosphere, and playing online with three others losers who never have enough damn ammo! All of the eight playable characters have their special ability and items. This makes for a strategic method of play instead of just "shooting until the limbs fall off." I would love to see this game redone with the technology available today.

Lost Odyssey - Xbox 360
Legendary Final Fantasy Hironobu Sakaguchi had his hands all over this 360 exclusive title. Lost Odyssey was a JRPG gamers' dream. The biggest problem though is that it didn't break any new ground. Sticking with a "tried and true" method garnered the game overall positive reviews though. As far as back stories, Kaim's 1000 years of dreams have been explored through a novel, and the game didn't break any record sales, so a possible sequel doesn't look to bright.

Chrono Trigger - Super famicom and SNES
Amazing storyline, fantastic game play, and multiple endings give you plenty of reasons to replay this masterpiece. I could go on and on about the sheer greatness of this game, but I won't beat it over everybody's head. Just go and play it already!
Update: There was a Nintendo DS update a few years ago, but nothing currently in development.

The Legend of Dragoon - PlayStation
One of my favorite games of all time. This epic story spans four discs and an easy to learn, but difficult to master learning curve, makes this game a must play. Admittedly, I have not beaten this game. Laugh all you will. Go find this game and call me not when, excuse me...if, you get past the third disc.

Shenmue II - Xbox
Nothing like going to work...on a video game. This game is one of the crown jewels of sequel anticipation. Plenty salivate at the mouth waiting for a conclusion to Ryo's journey.
Update: Depending on where you get your source, the game is either completed and waiting for fans to pledge alliance to buy multiple copies, or it will never happen. Ever!
