The Crystals of Mida: Jalav - Amazon Warrior #1... - Sharon Green
Jalav - Amazon Warrior Series - 5 books, complete story.
Jalav is from an group of women warriors who believe that men are the enemy. Then she's captured by men. And everything her tribe believes seems to be right. But there's something else going on behind the scenes.
Jalav was the first series published by Sharon Green, and follows in the footsteps of the Conan traditions. Violence, sex, and violent sex. It's a Conan-fantasy type world, with elements of sci-fi. This series is not for the weak of heart. Be warned.

The Warrior Within: Part One of the Terrilian Series... - Sharon Green
Terilian is a top-class telepath, and chosen for a rather unusual assignment through a twist of fate. She's sent to a barbarian world, to help one leader convince the other leaders on his world to join the galactic government.
The Jalav and Terilian books were published in tandem, first one, then the other, then back to the first series again, with a few other stories in between. That means that it has a similar dark tone to it, though the Sci-fi content is higher in this series. There's a good deal of darkness in this series, and bondage, and sex, and the series itself begins with what some could definitely term a rape, so do be cautious when reading. If you can get past that first rape, you should be okay with the rest.

Mind Guest and Gateway to Xanadu are the first two series in a much longer series of works that can be found at Sharon's site, though these two stand alone a bit better than do a couple of her other unfinished works. More importantly, there's still a good bit of adult subject matter here, so be warned, though less so than in Jalav or Terilian.
Diana is adrift in her disabled and dying space-craft, when she's picked up on the outskirts of a new system, and put into service to help them deal with a situation that has arisen for them before they will help her get home.

The Far Side of Forever - Sharon Green
The Far Side of Forever can be read as a stand-alone, though the sequel is quite good. Hellhound Magic is a bit more open-ended, and you can see she intended at least one more book in the series. This series is a bit lighter and more traditional fantasy than what Sharon had written before, and could probably be read by a larger audience.
Laciel is a sorceress with a mysterious past, and is pulled into service along with a rather rag-tag group to find something that could well mean the end of the universe if it is not found in time.

My obsession with Sharon Green started in 1986 at a grocery store near my house. I was bored, and wanted a new book to read. And there was a fascinating one in the book rack, entitled Lady Blade, Lord Fighter, so I bought it. I devoured it. Part Romance, part Fantasy, part Smut. And I read it a number of times in the next year, waiting for the obvious sequel the book seemed to promise. It never arrived.
Finally I broke down and began scouring used bookstores (and Seattle is full of them) for her older books. And I found even more smutty, more sexy, more eye-opening stories for me there.
She's since published a good deal more, and these days tends to publish through the web, but her style and prose always draw me in, smutty or not.
I will warn that a few of these stories have no ending--Lady Blade, Lord Fighter did eventually get a sequel--self-published, but available. Other series were not so lucky, and were left hanging--most notably Mists of Ages. Only read that one if you're okay with never knowing how it turned out.
