Womanbeater? Yes. Junkie yes. but remember it was him who taught Tina how to belt and exaggerate her dances, without this what would beyonce or Madonna be as entertainers. He also writing and composing her most famous songs. On the other hand I think Tina needs to come clean too,she exposed all of Ike's issues, but she had some also. Ike was married and she had a baby by "Spider" in band. They both were cheating on others when they got together. Tina was living with Ike and his wife and his wife was her friend. Ike was horrible but Tina wasn't a saint and she does not think highly of black people. P.S. James Brown is pretty much the same guy.
Her tone. Her vocal light and shade. Her authentic phrasing. She was a great singer, even if you don't like her at least she got her fame with God given talent. In her time hardly anyone was singing with that much emotion, personal issues or not you can't deny her talent.

Nah I'm not one of those "Oh she's a legend because she was the prettiest women ever!!" kind of people but after reading about her I think she was psychologically misguided which happens with no stability in one's upbringing. She was charismatic and did have talent but that's almost exactly what I often thought of Michael Jackson and his antics.

Janice Dickinson is probably one of the most Underrated Supermodels ever, she hardly gets any kind of credit because of her "behavior" nowadays. In my opinion she's on the same level of versatility as Linda Evangelista.

Funny how Kate Moss has been a drug abuser for almost 2 decades now and she's glorified beyond belief but Gia gets little to no credit as model. Gia was the one who originated the quirky poses and androgynous look for Supermodels, so many people believe it to be Linda Evangelista (who pulls it off effortlessly I must say.) but she was just beginning high school when Gia was modeling. This was way before the "SuperModel Era" in the 90s. Gia and Janice were the Linda Evangelista and Cindy Crawford of their time.
And for the record Gia was the first to emulate Heroin chic not Kate Moss.

Bobby was not the cause of Whitney's downfall, her brother was๏ปฟ right along with herself, if you ask me Whitney caused Bobby's downfall if that's really how everyone chooses to play it. He was not a womanbeater, Whitney admitted he only hit her after she had been constantly hitting him. He was yesterday's Chris Brown but better.
