Oh god, this was so stupid but I kinda liked it :)

It has some nice scenes but definitely not as atmospheric as Doom Generation nor does it have a great story like Mysterious Skin. But it certainly has even more sex.

Nice movie but I wasn't impressed, it seemed too bright and naive considering the subject.

Who put Reese Witherspoon in this movie?
She ruined it for me, everytime she was on screen it felt like watching a cheesy romantic movie . I guess i didn't mind her much the first time I watched, but this time she was unbearable. But being a big Johnny Cash fan I got goose bumps everytime Joaquin Phoenix performed in the movie, so he, unlike his co-star did a great job, the colour of his voice was very similar to Cash's, again, unlike with Witherspoon being June.

Compared to Tsotsi, this one had a better story and was more interesting, but Tsotsi was more emotional and I felt deeper connection to the character.

Powerful scenes throughout the whole movie, it's a shame it was just a bit too melodramatic for my taste.
