The Blair Witch Project (1999)

The Blair Witch Project was a very special movie in 1999, I saw it in the cinema and there were rumours that this film was real footage (in fact it was a really good marketing campaign). If you believe it's real what you see, then it's definitely an extraordinary cinema event.

I believe it's the first movie introducing the shaking camera - the same technique is used e.g. in Cloverfield.

Sweet and Lowdown (2000)

This movie drew my interest to Django Reinhardt's beautiful guitar music. The music and Sean Penn are the stars of this film. The story could be a little bit more complex and I would prefer to cut the interviews out.
